During this just-before-launch keynote speaking session, participants will understand key Service progress to date; features available at launch and how they can support a broad range of transaction types; and how instant payments can drive value for their operations. Speaker(s): Bernadette Ksepka, Federal Reserve Bank Financial Services Bernadette Ksepka currently serves as vice president and deputy head of product management for the Federal Reserve System’s FedNow Service, a real-time clearing and settlement service under development by the Federal Reserve Banks to support instant payments in the United States. She leads FedNow product management activities which include understanding market needs for instant payments, supporting development of the service, establishing industry partnerships, and ensuring financial institution readiness to support adoption and innovation for the service. Ksepka’s tenure with the Federal Reserve System includes achievements during her time as assistant vice president and product management deputy head of the Fedwire Securities Service in the Wholesale Product Office.
