May 10, 2021 | 10:15 am ET

Session Description:

On February 25th, the FFIEC released updates to the BSA/AML Exam Manual. The release stated, “The updates should not be interpreted as new instructions or as a new or increased focus on certain areas; instead, they offer further transparency into the examination process and support risk-focused examination work.”

So, what really changed and what is meant by “Risk-Focused” examination work? This session will cover this exam manual update and give insight into the “risk-focus” of the regulators by including key pieces of this update and the update issued back in April 2020.
