I Feel the Need - for Speed! - Faster ACH and Real Time Payments Landscape
May 10, 2021 | 2:30 pm ET

Session Description:

Its been 30 years since Tom Cruise had "the need for speed" in the film Top Gun. A lot has changed in 30 years - but until very recently, payment rails still operated largely the same as in 1986 when that movie hit theaters. Now though, we have seen a recent pivot to faster payments with both the US Automated Clearing House, The Clearing House Real Time Payments (RTP) system and coming soon FEDNow Fast Payments. Join our two experts from Peoples United Bank and The Clearing House to level set the US faster payments landscape as it exists today. Our session will cover use cases for these payments (late payments/payroll, gig payments, bill payment etc.) as well as the future of conversational commerce and how it will change the way we do business in the future.
